Philadelphia Catholic priest arrested for raping altar boy

Yet another case has come to the spotlight about a Catholic priest that’s involved in a child sex abuse scandal.
The allegations against Robert Brennan, the Catholic priest, include finger penetration and oral sex.
This comes on the heel of another major arrest in Philadelphia’s archdiocese not too long ago. Monsignor William Lynn, the vicar of clergy for the diocese was charged for child endangerment in 2012.
It is being reported that Brennan has had more than 20 alleged child sex abuse victims that came to light in 2005,
but he never got prosecuted because of statute of limitations laws.
And what do you think the Catholic Church did to him when these allegations came out?
Nothing!
He still remained a priest, although they claim that “he was stripped of most of his duties.”
1 Timothy 3:1-2 This is a true saying, if a man desire the office of a bishop (same as a priest), he desireth a good work.
2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
Having oral sex or fingering little boys is not being “of good behavior” and to be accused of as many as 20 different boys of sexual abuse, is not being “blameless.”
As the Catholic Church was set up on the tenets of Satan, we don’t expect them to follow the above referenced scripture.
The more disturbing issue here though is the fact that the Catholic Church still has many members in their congregations, even with these types of behaviors that have dogged the church for many years.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 2 Corinthians 6:17
