“My death needs to mean something.” Transgender teen suicide note.

The recent death of a transgender teen suicide note have caused quite a stir on the internet, with almost every major news outlet and social media site reporting on it. There’s also been a big outcry from the LGBT community, as well as criticism for the parents because they didn’t support their child’s lifestyle.

The teen was born as Joshua Ryan Alcorn but was going by Leelah Alcorn and was killed by a tractor-trailer in an apparent suicide. The teen left a suicide note on his Tumblr page and also a post apologizing to his closest friends. The teen explained in the note that ever since she was four years old, she felt like a girl trapped in a boy’s body and cried tears of joy when she learned what transgender meant at fourteen years old. The teen went on to say, “I immediately told my mom, and she reacted extremely negatively, telling me that it was a phase, that I would never truly be a girl, that God doesn’t make mistakes, that I am wrong.”

According to an article from CNN on this very same story, “Transgender is an umbrella term for people whose gender identity, expression or behavior does not conform to the sex they were assigned at birth, according to American Psychological Association.” The same article goes on to say, “Although it may seem like a relatively new topic, transgender people have been documented since antiquity in many cultures around the world.

The bible tells us that there is no new thing in the earth. People have always had the same issues and have always been dealing with the same things from the beginning of time.

Ecclesiastes 1:10 Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.

So how does this happen, you may ask. How does someone feel like a female trapped in a male’s body or vice versa? On quite a few comments on the articles people were asking this very same question.

Lets start by saying that the mother was right in what she told him “God doesn’t make mistakes.”

Psalm 18:30 As for God, his way is perfect…

The Lord knows what he’s doing when he makes us to be either a female or a male and there are no mistakes about it.

So people get to feel this way because they have demons. This might throw some people off because they might think of a scary movie with demons, but it’s no different when you hear people say that “this person have personal demons that they’re battling,” such as in the case of alcohol or drugs. They’re dealing with something that’s a problem for them where if they don’t deal with it the right way, it will lead to their death, such as in the case of this child.

And yes, demons get on children as well even in this case when he states that from four years old he’s felt this way.

Consider the following scripture with the example of this child during Christ time on earth.

Matthew 17:14 And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying,

15 Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.

18 And Jesus rebuked the devil [same as demon]; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.

A lunatick is someone who is of an unsound mind and is crazy-so is someone who believes that they are another gender trapped in their body.

Is it possible for a person to be born this way?

No it is not because God did not make any mistakes who he created to be male or female and he has a purpose for all of us even before we are formed in the womb. Consider what he said to the prophet Jeremiah.

Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

So what can a parent do if their child exhibits this type of behavior?

First off, definitely have a talk with them and explain that God has determined everything from the beginning, even down to who he would create and what gender they would be, using the above referenced scriptures.

Also, in the aforementioned mentioned scripture with Christ, the parent of the child that was possessed with the demon first bought the child to Christ disciples and they couldn’t heal him and Christ gave the following instructions.

Matthew 17:21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

So it will take the parent to do this so that the child can be healed.
