By now most of us have seen the video of the bus driver who punched a female passenger that allegedly was looking for her bus fare. Most people’s thoughts and opinions run deep on this with some arguing that it’s wrong for a man to hit a woman or that it was simply the bus driver defending himself.

Regardless of the stance that is taken, they were both wrong because neither of them applied any scriptures to the situation. The Bible is widely demonized for being a book of fairy tales, but it is a guide to live our lives and gives us commandments on how we should conduct ourselves, such as, watching what we say with our mouths and being temperate in all things.
