Trump the #PAB President

By now most people should’ve heard what happened between Chrissy Teigen and the president where Donald Trump referred to Chrissy Teigen as John Legend’s “foul mouthed wife.” Chrissy Teigen fired back at him on twitter by referring to him in an expletive that we will not repeat but have since gone viral with the hashtag acronym #PABPresident. You can look it up for yourself to see the meaning.

There have not been a president like this in modern history that have so many people fired up and showing deeply rooted and ingrained hatred for him. He’s been blamed for almost everything bad that’s happened and people just can’t get over their hatred for him.

As we’ve stated before on our blog site, the purpose of our blog is to examine current events through the lens of the bible.

So what does the bible say about how we should treat those who are in authority such as the president?

1 Timothy 2:1-3 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

The scriptures tells us that we should be praying for these people, so that they make the right decisions in order for our lives to be peaceable. It doesn’t say anything about cursing them out or railing on them.

Let’s look at our Lord and savior Jesus Christ when he was about to be crucified. He was brought before the governor at the time, Pontius Pilate and let’s see if he called him a #PAB governor for giving in to the demands of the people who wanted to crucify an innocent man.

John 19:7-11  The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.

8 When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he was the more afraid;

9 And went again into the judgment hall, and saith unto Jesus, Whence art thou? But Jesus gave him no answer.

10 Then saith Pilate unto him, Speakest thou not unto me? knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee?

11 Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.

Jesus knew that the real power lies with God and not man so he wouldn’t waste his time by calling him an expletive.

This is what we also have to recognize that the people that are set up in authority, God is the one that set them up. So whether it be Donald Trump or anyone else, they’re in that position of authority because God put them there.

When you read in the book of Daniel, Daniel was shown a dream that told him about all the kingdoms of the world that would be set up until the second coming of Jesus Christ and he told the king at the time what the dream meant.

Daniel 4:24-25 This is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree of the most High, which is come upon my lord the king:

25 That they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and they shall wet thee with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee, till thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.

Daniel pretty much let the king at the time know that it’s the Most High God that rules over all things and sets up kings, presidents, prime ministers, governors and anyone that’s in authority.

We all know that this whole world is very wicked and corrupt and so are all the leaders.

Daniel 4:17 This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men. Basest means low class, someone with no morals.

So when people waste their precious energy on hating the president and get all fired up on how he’s a supposed racist, we’re only wasting our time. It’s also not something that we should we doing either according the aforementioned scriptures. Every president that has come before him and that will come after him, will be someone who’s low class and have absolutely no morals because that’s who God picks to be leaders.

What we should do instead, is focus on getting ourselves right so that we can be saved when this wicked kingdom is destroyed.

Daniel 12:1-2 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Daniel 7:27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

    Apply the above reasoning to Adolf Hitler. This would make God responsible for the deaths of millions of innocent people, including his chosen people, the Jews. And it would make all those who opposed Hitler, and gave their lives to defeat him, sinners against the authority of God. In WHAT bizarro world does this argument God up? NONE. So, back to Trump…
